Our ceramic infrared heaters (emitters) are manufactured with three basic emitter faces: Concave, Flat and Convex. The concave surface will emit a “concentrated” radiant pattern which is highly effective when zone heating is desired as well as radiant heating in general. Flat surface emitters will produce a “uniform” pattern for even heating at a close proximity between the emitter and the target being heated. Finally, the convex shaped emitter gives off a “wide area”

Medium-wave and carbon (CIR) infrared heaters operate at filament temperatures of around 1000 °C. They reach maximum power densities of up to 60 kW/m² (medium-wave) and 150 kW/m² (CIR). Infrared heating Elements provide medium wave infrared radiation. They are favored in industrial applications where rapid heater response is necessary, including systems with long heater off cycles.

Our medium wave infrared heating elements are particularly effective in systems where rapid heater response and/or zone controlled heating is required.They have a broad emission spectrum and cover various absorption ranges. We manufacture and supply superior quality medium wave infrared heater that consists of a helically wound resistance coil housed in a pure vitreous silica fused quartz tube. The quartz tubing is terminated with ceramic insulating caps that are specially designed to allow the quartz tubing to breathe. The ceramic caps are tightly fastened to the quartz tube with high temperature cement that allows the quartz to breathe. Made of high quality material, these are superior in performance and offer long serving life.

Air is virtually transparent to infrared radiation, and infrared is neither absorbed nor scattered by air.
